Privacy Policy

How PT Webzoo Indonesia Digital collects, uses and protects your personal data.

This policy explains how PT Webzoo Indonesia Digital ("Webzoo", "we") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit webzoo.id or contact us. We process personal data in line with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (the PDP Law).

The data we collect

Data you give us

When you fill in the Get a Quote form, you give us your name, job title, company name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, the service you need, when you would like to start, how you would like the consultation to take place and a description of what you need. We receive similar details when you contact us by email or WhatsApp.

Data collected automatically

  • The pages you view, the first page of your visit and the site that referred you to webzoo.id.
  • Campaign parameters in links, such as utm_source or a Google Ads click ID, when you arrive from an ad or a campaign link.
  • Your IP address, which we store only as a hash (an irreversibly scrambled value), together with the form data, to prevent abuse.
  • Usage data from analytics services, such as device type, browser and approximate location.
  • The pages you open and the buttons or links you click (WhatsApp, phone, email, downloads and links to other sites), with your device type, browser and country. We keep this record on our own server under a scrambled session code, without your IP address.

What we use the data for

  • To contact you, schedule a consultation and prepare a proposal.
  • To manage our working relationship if you become a client.
  • To understand which channels and campaigns bring in quote requests, so our marketing reaches the right people.
  • To keep the site and its forms safe from spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it beyond the purposes above without your consent.

Legal basis for processing

We process form data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form, and to take the steps you ask for before entering into an agreement, namely a consultation and a proposal. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

Cookies and third-party services

webzoo.id uses the cookies it needs to run, for example for sessions and form security, and one attribution cookie that stores the source of your visit for 90 days, so we know which campaign brought in a quote request.

We also use the following services, which may set cookies or receive usage data under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, for analytics and ad measurement. When you submit the form, your email address and phone number may be sent to Google in hashed form to measure ad results (Enhanced Conversions).
  • Microsoft Clarity, to understand how visitors use our pages.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, to tell real visitors apart from bots on the form.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Pages will still load, but the form needs its security cookies before it can be submitted.

Who can access the data

Form data can only be accessed by the Webzoo team members who handle quote requests. To provide the service, the data is stored with or passed through our website hosting provider, our email provider (for request notifications) and Google Workspace (for logging requests). The website's servers are in our hosting provider's data centre in Malaysia, so form data is stored outside Indonesia. Traffic to the site passes through Cloudflare for security, including the anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on our forms. Backups are encrypted and stored on Google Drive. We do not share your personal data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep the data

We keep quote request data for as long as we need it to follow up on your request and maintain our business relationship, or for as long as regulations require. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Our own record of visits and clicks on the site is deleted automatically after 90 days.

Data security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the data is limited to authorised team members, and IP addresses are never stored in their original form.

Your rights

Under the PDP Law, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your personal data is processed;
  • access your data and receive a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • ask for your data to be deleted;
  • withdraw the consent you have given;
  • object to certain processing.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the regulations change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
