Cost factors

Why project costs vary

Two projects with the same name can be very different underneath. These are the things that affect the cost most.

  • Number of pages and modules

The more pages or application modules there are, the more design, build and testing work is involved.

  • Integration with other systems

Connecting to an ERP, accounting software, marketplaces or a payment gateway takes additional work.

  • Platform

A website only, a web app, Android, iOS, or a combination.

  • User roles and permissions

Each type of user with its own workflow and permissions adds complexity.

  • Content and languages

Copywriting, migrating existing data, and an English-language version.

  • Support after launch

The warranty period, monthly maintenance and SLA you need.

Why is there no list of fixed-price packages?

Every business needs something different. Fixed packages often mean paying for features you won't use, or going without ones that matter. The ranges on this page help you estimate, and a written proposal gives you the exact figure.

Is there a charge for the initial consultation?

No. There is no charge for the initial consultation, where we get to understand your needs.

Can the work be phased to fit our budget?

Yes. We help you prioritise the most important features for the first version, then add the rest in later phases.

Are there ongoing costs after the project is finished?

Ongoing costs usually cover the domain, hosting or server, and maintenance if you choose it. All of this is set out in the proposal from the start.
